WinPatrol offers you better knowledge of your system and the programs installed by it. WinPatrol monitors important system areas, that are often altered by unwanted programs, often invisibly to the user (start groups, registers, cookies, active tasks, etc).

With WinPatrol you can kill processes and enable/disable start programs, and also delete specific cookies using keyword searches. Other additional options include a WHOIS search tool and a changes alert service. WinPatrol is really simple to understand and use, and quite powerful. There is another version of the program, WinPatrol PLUS, with some extra advanced options.
